This work was commissioned by IMMA as a response to the Patrick Scott exhibition ‘Image, Space, Light’ and was developed in collaboration with the Education Department.
An interactive video work inspired by the Patrick Scott exhibition Image, Space, Light, and in particular his Christmas cards, invites visitors to create their own colourful light painting. Considering the different colours, shapes and forms that Patrick uses repeatedly in his work, visitors can explore Scott’s palette and create their own painting. Using the torches provided, visitors are invited to turn to the camera and start painting.
